H.E. Ambassador Liu Xiaoming Meets with Prince William, Duke of Cambridge

On 8 September, H.E. Ambassador Liu Xiaoming met with Prince William, Duke of Cambridge when attending the Opening of the Dickson Poon University of Oxford China Centre Building. Ambassador Liu briefed Prince William on the cooperation between China and the UK in various fields. He thanked the British royal family for their care and support to the China-UK relations and invited the Duke and Duchess of Cambridge to visit China at a convenient time. The Ambassador also congratulated the British royal family on the pregnancy of the Duchess of Cambridge.
 
Prince William was pleased to see the constant development of the UK-China relations and commended the efforts of the Chinese government in protecting wildlife. He said that China is a great country with a long history and an ancient civilization. Its rapid development in contemporary times has attracted worldwide attention. He looked forward to visiting China in the near future. Prince William also thanked Ambassador Liu for his congratulations.
