Li Keqiang Meets Respectively with Foreign Leaders Attending the Closing Ceremony of the International Horticultural Exhibition 2019 Beijing China

On the morning of October 9, 2019, Premier Li Keqiang met at the Great Hall of the People with First Deputy Prime Minister Kubatbek Boronov of Kyrgyzstan, Deputy Prime Minister Hajibala Ibrahim oglu Abutalibov of Azerbaijan and Deputy Prime Minister Hor Namhong of Cambodia respectively, who were in China for the closing ceremony of the International Horticultural Exhibition 2019 Beijing China.

When meeting with Kubatbek Boronov, Li Keqiang expressed, China and Kyrgyzstan are friendly neighbors. This year, the two heads of state have exchanged visits and injected new impetus into the development of bilateral relations. China and Kyrgyzstan have always supported each other on issues concerning each other's core interests and major concerns. The Chinese side is willing to, together with the Kyrgyz side, increase the scale of bilateral trade, deepen practical cooperation in such fields as investment, and push for new progress in bilateral relations.

Kubatbek Boronov said, the Kyrgyz side attaches great importance to deepening the comprehensive strategic partnership with the Chinese side, and is willing to further intensify high-level exchanges between the two countries, expand economic, trade and investment cooperation and provide all conveniences for Chinese investors.

When meeting with Hajibala Ibrahim oglu Abutalibov, Li Keqiang said, since the establishment of diplomatic relations between China and Azerbaijan, the two sides have always conducted cooperation on the principle of mutual respect, equality and mutual benefit and realized the sound and steady development of bilateral relations. The Chinese side supports the Azerbaijani side in pursuing a development path that suits its national conditions and is willing to get along with the Azerbaijani side for win-win cooperation and common development.

Hajibala Ibrahim oglu Abutalibov said, the Azerbaijani side attaches great importance to relations with China, firmly adheres to the One China policy, and is willing to consolidate friendship with the Chinese side and actively participate in the joint construction of the Belt and Road Initiative to achieve more mutually beneficial and win-win results.

When meeting with Hor Namhong, Li Keqiang said, China and Cambodia are traditional friendly neighbors. The two sides have consistently stood for the principle of mutual respect and non-interference in each other's internal affairs in dealing with international relations. The Chinese side is willing to continuously consolidate and deepen friendship with the Cambodian side, promote bilateral free trade agreement negotiations, push for reaching the Regional Comprehensive Economic Partnership agreement at an early date, advance the consultations on the Code of Conduct in the South China Sea, and jointly safeguard regional peace, stability and prosperity.

Hor Namhong expressed, Cambodia and China have enjoyed friendly relations for a long time. The two sides have signed an action plan on building a Cambodia-China community with a shared future, which will further promote the comprehensive strategic partnership between the two countries and will also be helpful in deepening the joint construction of the Belt and Road Initiative. The Cambodian side is willing to sign a free trade agreement with the Chinese side as soon as possible to deepen practical cooperation.

Foreign leaders congratulated on the 70th anniversary of the founding of the People's Republic of China, and marveled at China's tremendous development achievements.
