Chinese Visa Application Service Centre (CVASC) began its operation on 26th of June, 2008. Chinese ordinary visa (including tourism, business, studying, employment, transit, crew, journalism or residence visas) applications are required to be submitted to the CVASC from then on.

Please note that applicants holding Diplomatic, Service or Official passport, or who are qualified to apply for the Chinese Diplomatic, Service, courtesy visa or visa-exempt certificate, or who apply for Hongkong visa/ entry permit,should still submit the application directly to the Chinese Embassy.
