After attending as nonvoting delegates the 17th CPC Party Congress in Beijing, H.E. Mme. Fu Ying visited the National People's Congress, Ministry of Commerce, National Development and Reform Commission, Ministry of Finance and Ministry of Science and Technology from October 22 to October 25 and exchanged opinions with them on further development of the Sino-UK relations and cooperation in all sectors. The topics include: finding new highlights in the trade and investment sectors, promoting import of advanced British technologies and experiences in the environment governance sector; making good use of the fund jointly input by the two countries in science and technology sector, paying more attention to issues of bilateral concerns such as climate change and sustainable development; deepening cooperation in finance sector and providing better information and service for Chinese enterprises to invest in UK. They also exchanged opinions on high-level exchanges between China and UK in 2008.
