In the evening of December 6, Chinese Foreign Minister Yang Jiechi met and took photos with staffs of the Chinese Embassy before winding up his trip to UK. Minister Yang denoted that his visit is in the context of great changes in international and European political situations. Both China and UK attach great importance to this visit. The meetings are pragmatic, in-depth and fruitful. Minister Yang highly evaluated work of the Chinese Embassy in the UK and encouraged them to study hard and implement the spirit of the 17th CPC Congress and further promote Sino-UK relations with pioneering and innovative spirit. He also advised them to balance work and life and wished them health, happy and success.

Minister Yang also awarded Certificate to the winner of lot, a lucky diplomat who will participate in the Olympic Torch Relay organized by Beijing Organizing Committee in China. The audience responded ardently with continuous applauses.
