Premier Li Keqiang just sent a congratulatory message to Elizabeth Truss on assuming office as British Prime Minister.

Li Keqiang said in his message that the sound and stable development of China-UK relations is in line with the fundamental interests of the two peoples. China is willing to work with the UK to advance bilateral relations along the right track towards long-term stability on the basis of mutual respect, equality and mutual benefit.
